Phyllis paints about a time long ago where people of different cultural backgrounds travelled on their horses and camels through Gija country - Phyllis says that these were the gardiya (white people) and Afghan people.

Represented as the two black bold figures, laid on a plain background of green pigments on each side of the painting, this is what Phyllis describes as the animals and the people that came travelling through our land. Located within the middle of the artwork, where pink ochre outlines the sharp edges and long thick oval shape.
