Anita was born in South Australia in Indulkana in 1982 and attended school in Adelaide.
Anita proudly shares women’s stories in her paintings. She often references Antara, an important women’s site close to Mimili community, and speaks about the witchetty grub story. She has also collaborated with her mother and her sisters on several other works.
Anita is a Mimili Maku Arts art center director and represents Mimili Maku Arts as a board member.
