Kudditji Kngwarreye is the half brother of the most famous late Aboriginal artist Emily Kame Kngwarreye. He was born c.1928 and passed away in 2017. He had a traditional bush upbringing and worked as a stockman and mine worker for many years. He is also a traditional custodian of many important Dreamings, of the land and of Men’s Business as well as ceremonial sites located in his country at Utopia Station, about 230 km north east of Alice Springs. Kudditji died on 23 January 2017.
