The Emu Egg Dreaming Story is usually associated with the Rdukarri site, south-west of Yuendumu in Central Australia. Most of this important men's story is not for telling. Rdukarri is an important ceremonial site for the clans of the area who are the custodians of the site. Emus forage on a variety of native vegetation found near to Rdukaarri, including the highly valued bush currant and wild plum.
