This painting has been photographed hanging in our Southport (Gold Coast) Gallery. It is on canvas, stretched over a wooden stretcher bar and has been done by the artist using natural ochre and pigments.
Usually we deliver paintings rolled into a tube free of any additional freight charge to any place around the world. This painting however need to be delivered stretched. It cannot be rolled safely.
Delivery to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast area down to Byron Bay is free. To any other place we need to use a specialised Art Transport company or build a box to safely secure the painting. The additional cost toSydney, Melbourne and Adelaide is AUD150 and to overseas AUD300.
Beryline Mung was born in 1954 on Texas Downs Station. She began station work at the age of 15 years. When equal wages legislation was passed and Gija people were forced off their country, Beryline moved to Frog Hollow Community. Beryline has lived in Frog Hollow since and raised her children there. She is now a Gija language teacher at the school and an artist at the Warmun Art Centre. Beryline paints her country around Frog Hollow and Texas Downs. Her older brother is established Warmun artist Patrick Mung Mung.
