This painting on quality Linen has been painted by Janet Dreamer in 2018 in Halls Creek. The artist used warm beautiful colours in her paintings and a very suttle approach to depict her Dreaming Story.
Janet depicts her country and some of its Bush-tucker and Plants in this artwork.
In the top right one can see a man dancing. In the top middle one can see the little rock pidgins. Underneath in the circle one can see sand frogs which Aboriginal people in the area eat. On the left there is depicted Mungari, a Bush-tucker which is a bush watermelon. Those Melons are very long and big. The bottom left of the painting shows the Artist's country Flora Valley and next to it is a Brolga and some Witchety grub.
