Fred has painted some of his country found south of Balgo, in the Great Sandy Desert. This country is known as Lappi Lappi. The many circles represent the series of tjurrnu (soakwater) to be found at Lappi Lappi. The lines depicted between these tjurrnu are warran (claypans).
