Yuendumu is an Aboriginal town in the Northern Territory of Australia. It ranks as one of the larger remote places in Central Australia and has a thriving community of Aboriginal artists. It lies about 290 km northwest of Alice Springs on the Tanami Road with a population of about 850, mainly Warlpiri people.

Other smaller communities in this area, in particular Lajamanu, Willowra and Nyirripi belong to the same community of Warlpiri people and paintings from there are included into our Yuendumu collection.
