When buying from our website Customers will be able to return the paintings within one week from the delivery date. We will reimburse in full the amount the customer paid for the paintings as soon as we receive them back in their original condition together with all documentation. Any expense for the return (customs/shipping/insurance) is the customers responsibility.

In the unlikely event that a painting is lost or damaged on transport we will reimburse customers in full as soon as we receive written confirmation of the transport company that the painting was lost or damaged on transport.


Since 1996 we provide artists with materials and have them painting in our gallery, organise workshops close to their place or buy directly from them on our visits to remote areas of Australia. Most of the artwork we offer for sale have been done whilst Werner was sitting next to the artists doing the painting. This is why we with confidence can issue Certificates of Authenticity.

At times we buy from Aboriginal Art Centres and in those instances we supply with the painting the original Authenticity Certificate of the Art Centre.

Boomerang Art is a Dealer member of the Indigenous Art Code Ltd, the public company established by the Australian Government to administer the Art Code of which Boomerang Art is a signatory. Boomerang Art is also a member of the Aboriginal Art Association of Australia.


If you would like to have your painting valued you will need to contact a licenced art valuer.


We regularly work with our Aboriginal artists, arange for workshops and we also purchase art from Aboriginal owned art centers.  We do not deal in the secondary market and do not take artworks on consignment or buy from individuals other than indigenous artists wishing to sell their paintings.


Our prices include 10% GST, resale royalty and certificate of authenticity. Overseas buyers can purchase paintings tax free and have their paintings shipped to an overseas address. In case they would like to take the paintings with them they will need to pay the 10% GST to the gallery but will get reimbursed at the airport when they leave the country with the painting. Prices displayed do not include stretching and delivery. Please let us know your requirements and the delivery address and we will quote you the total cost. Usually we deliver paintings rolled into a tube free of any additional charge. Stretched paintings will be delivered free to any address in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. To Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide we deliver stretched paintings via Art Transport at cost.





To visit our Gallery, please call us on 0400 141 943 or 0401 039 931 and make an appointment. We welcome your visit at any day/time (except when we travel to visit our artists.)

We have a large variety of paintings available in our gallery of around 500 square meters. In the instance however that you have an interest to purchase one or more paintings displayed on our website please note we will need the artist names and catalogue numbers of the artworks one day in advance of your visit.

There is no entrance fee.
